Walden Conservatory’s 50th AnniversarySunday, May 17, 2026

The event will take place immediately following our 2:00 pm matinee of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This was our first production ever staged by Walden Theatre in 1976 under the direction of Nancy Niles Sexton. That performance marked the beginning of what would become the Young American Shakespeare Festival and helped establish the study of Shakespeare as a foundational pillar of the program. Returning to this play on our 50th anniversary creates a powerful link between our beginnings and our future.
