Waking Up To Reiki: Restorative Yoga with Attunement

Join me in person for a magical afternoon celebrating Beltane! Dive deep into the waters of this full moon and craft a nourishing path at the peak of Spring. A gentle restorative Yin yoga flow will relax and warm the body. Breath work, visualizations, mantra and mudras draw focus back to the practice. A Reiki immersion follows. Your attunement is customized to your level and knowledge of Reiki. This workshop is perfect for all levels, and is about connecting, relaxing, and flowing into the season with fresh energy. Everyone leaves with a level up. Bring your open hearts and comfy clothes – You are welcome always.

Info: Guests arrive in a calm aerial/pole studio space. Signing in, waivers checked. Enjoy the juice bar. Shoes off, mats and props ready. Brief intention-setting, and explanation of the flow. Introductions, goals, and determination of Reiki level for each participant. You'll find out which attunement you'll be getting.

Info: Beginning with pranayama (breath work) and meditation, we relax and fully enter the space. A gentle yogic flow contains slow, long-held stretches to release the body's tension, and deepen the breath. Optional use of your pole and other props for support or creative movement. Deep hip openers release emotional rigidity. Light mantra and mudras serve to focus the mind. Concludes with Yoga Nidra in savasana.

Info: After a quick break, we return to the mat for a custom attunement tailored to each participant’s level. If you have zero experience with Reiki, you'll begin with Reiki I at the threshold. For those who have self-practiced, they will receive Reiki II. For those who have performed Reiki on themselves and others, they have the opportunity to be attuned to Reiki Master and continue to be recognized to teach teachers. Emily is holding space, but it is you who are doing the healing. Calming eye masks or hot towel will be provided with essential oils to deepen the integration. All amenities are optional.

Info: Integrate both the restorative practice and the attunement. You may journal, dance, chant or conversate and ask questions or share experiences to discover more. For those that moved to the next (or first) level of Reiki mastery, this is a time to practice what you've discovered. A small circle will form, and you'll have a chance to move the energy and feel what it's like to help someone else by working with Reiki energy.
