Join us in person at the Wakefield Freelance Collective, a relaxed monthly meetup welcoming creatives, freelancers and small business ownders run by local freelancers!

We know freelancing can be a lonely game, so we're here to be the colleagues you want to hang with after work. Build your network, find inspiration, bounce ideas, de-brief and chill with like-minded folks every month from across the region. (Friends are welcome - and don't worry if you're not from/in Wakefield!)

The event has no set agenda so please feel free to drop in and out as you feel comfortable. Stay for 20 minutes, an hour, or the whole night!

LOCATION

The Shed, WX Wakefield (Main Hall - Lower Floor)

ACCESS INFO

The venue is wheelchair accessible and the event will be held on the lower floor in the main hall (The Shed). Look for the yellow stand up banner when you come in!

FOOD & DRINK

No food or drink is included. If you would like to grab a drink or food however, the Venue has a bar serving soft drinks and alchol, and food is available until 5pm from La Chingada Tex Mex located inside WX.

TRANSPORT & PARKING

WX Wakefield (Wakefield Exchange) is in central Wakefield. There are a number of paid parking options within a 5 minute walk (we personally recommend Trinity Shopping Centre Car Park, which always has plenty of space) or two central train stations to the city centre (Wakefield Westgate / Wakefield Kirkgate), as well as bus routes to the city.
