Jamie brings a wealth of healthcare leadership experience to the role, including more than 24 years of service in the military where he began his medical career. Upon his retirement from the military, Jamie worked for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control as the state’s public health administrator for emergency medical services for children; served as public health administrator for the United States Army, Fort Jackson, SC; and was recruited to be chief operating officer of Rural Health Services, an FQHC in Aiken, SC. Prior to joining, Healthcare Network he was CEO for Heart of Florida, an FQHC serving Marion County, FL.
Javier I. Rosado, PhD - Director, FSU Center for Child Stress & Health
Dr. Rosado is a Clinical Associate Professor and Regional Director at the Florida State University Isabel Collier Read Medical Campus in Immokalee. He is also a psychologist primarily serving children and is the Director for the FSU Center for Child Stress & Health. He currently leads several intervention programs to address toxic stress and early childhood trauma. He particularly focuses his research on the dissemination and implementation of best practices with adaptations for underserved populations and within integrated behavioral health systems.
Scott Burgess - CEO, David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC)
Burgess comes to DLC after an illustrious 21-year career with Alexian Brothers Center for Mental Health in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He began working for the mental health center as an entry level Vocational Counselor and progressed across time to Executive Director. During his tenure there, he also served as the Director of Program Services and Director of Research. He is a proven clinician with experience and is a highly recognized supervisor, manager, and leader with deep knowledge of community behavioral health and integrated healthcare systems and solutions.
Beth Hatch - CEO, NAMI Collier County
As a Collier County Barron Collier Highschool graduate and graduate from University of South Florida; nearly twenty -five years ago, Beth began her career as an Exceptional Student Education Teacher for Collier County Public Schools. She went on to become Executive Director of Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee in 2018 where she was instrumental in rebuilding a 57-year-old organization while ensuring its national accreditation as an early learning model for our community and a Blueprint Partner for NCEF’s Early Learning Initiative. Beth joined the NAMI Collier family in July 2022 as their new CEO - NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness is the largest grassroots mental health organization with over 650 affiliates nationwide dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. Beth has been published and received multiple awards for her achievements.
