The festival will feature art exhibits, a silent art auction, live music and, local vendors, while also providing a space to connect, network and learn other ways of being of service.

kolab.art and Dancing Bear the Grateful Dog presents Wake of the Flood - A Help on the Way Benefit Festival. The artists of Western North Carolina were impacted greatly by Hurricane Helene. These artists have faced significant challenges that have disrupted their livelihoods. Many have lost their means of living, with their workspaces and galleries devastated, destroying years of creative output and leaving artists with little to salvage and has forced them to rebuild from scratch.
We have partnered with ArtsAVL who is administering the Emergency Relief Grant to meet the immediate needs of artists impacted by Hurricane Helene. The grant provides $500 relief stipends to arts professionals living in the 25 counties of Western NC impacted by Hurricane Helene.
In response to the challenges faced by these artists, we have created benefit festival to raise funds and support their local art community. This event will celebrate resilience and creativity, bringing together artists, musicians, and supporters to foster connection and renewal.
The festival will feature art exhibits, live music and local vendors, while also providing a space to connect, network and learn other ways of being of service.
Come have some fun, hear some great music and help get WNC artists back on their feet!!
