Join us for a fun yet challenging afternoon of racing at the beautiful Waiwhakareke Reserve. The relay follows a scenic gravel trail loop featuring a testing climb—perfect for a great team challenge!
🏃 Relay Format
• Random teams of 3
• 2.2km laps around the reserve
• One runner completes 1 lap
• One runner completes 2 laps
• One runner completes 3 laps
• Teams will be drawn on the day
📍 Meet at the Barn in the north-eastern corner of the reserve.
⏰ Event Schedule
📝 Registrations: 12:30pm
👥 Teams selected: 12:55pm
🏃 Children's 2km Race: 1:00pm
🏁 Relay Start: 1:00pm
☕ Afternoon Tea
Please bring a plate to share after the racing, along with a thermos if you'd like a hot drink.
🚗 Parking
• Baverstock Road, or
• Car park opposite Hamilton Zoo on Brymer Road
If parking on Brymer Road, simply follow the northern trail to the Barn.
