Singles Corner: An Album Listening Experience
Step inside Singles Corner, a reflective listening installation created by R. Flex in celebration of the upcoming album Wait Until You’re Single.
Inspired by MuchMusic’s Speakers Corner and the visual language of screens, reflection, and digital intimacy, Singles Corner transforms a studio space into a place to pause, listen, and encounter yourself within the music.
Guests will receive an exclusive preview of the album through a QR code and experience it together through an individual listening ritual: headphones on, phones in hand, surrounded by reflective surfaces, light, and the presence of others. Think of it as a quiet day rave: a shared experience where everyone moves, reflects, records, and connects in their own way.
Because this is an intimate studio installation, capacity is limited to 4–5 guests at a time.

After listening, guests are invited to share reflections, capture photos/videos in the space, and participate in conversations about intimacy, technology, and singleness as a collective experience.
Parking is available at the GO Station parking lot. From there, it is a short walk to 8 Nelson Street.
Come experience Singles Corner: a space where being alone becomes something we can explore together.
Community Lunch (Optional)
Following the listening experience, guests are invited to stay for a small Caribbean-inspired community lunch prepared as part of the Singles Corner experience.
The menu will feature an oxtail sandwich on a spaccatelli bun with marble cheese, sautéed onions, and garlic butter, served with chips, a lemon-herb yogurt dip, and sparkling water.
The listening installation is free to attend. A suggested $15 contribution is appreciated for those who would like to participate in the meal and support the materials and preparation involved.
