Join us for Wahine Clinic 2024, an all-day event dedicated to empowering the women in our community through Ultimate! Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, this clinic welcomes beginners and offers something for everyone.Schedule:
9:00 AM – The Basics: We'll kick things off with warm-ups followed by skill drills focusing on throws, marking, and cuts.
11:00 AM – Lunch Break: Recharge and connect with fellow players over lunch. (Lunch TBD)
12:00 PM – Clothing Swap: Bring your gently used clothing and trade it out for something new in our fun and eco-friendly clothing swap! Mirrors will be provided.
1:00 PM – Goaltie Scrimmage: Jump into the action with a fast-paced, fun scrimmage to get you moving before the afternoon drills.
3:00 PM – Advanced Skills & Strategy: Learn the nuances of Vert Stack, Ho Stack, Hex, and Sidestalk offenses, and sharpen your Zone and Person defense techniques.
5:00 PM – Group Photo & Full-Field Scrimmage: We'll end the day with a big group photo followed by a full-field scrimmage to put your skills to the test!
Whether you're honing your skills or building new ones, this day is designed to support and celebrate the Wahine in Ultimate. See you on the field!
