W.A.G.S.inCLE Night Out Gala

A journey through life a person takes believing that it will lead to good things. Like the very Every journey begins with a single step. Or so we like to say. And so each time we begin on this journey with a family we we begin - one foot in front of the other on the journey down the yellow brick road with each of our families on the way to our little Emerald City - the place where each child's perfect service dog awaits.

Ease on down the road on October 20th for a magical journey at the Ariel International Center. Be treated to a yellow carpet entrance, the wicked witch's potion, a poppy field of prizes, a multitude of munchkin-sized bites, and of course - meet Toto too! All while supporting W.A.G.S. 4 Kids!

*Red shoes highly recommended, but not required.*

This event is a fundraiser for Working Animals Giving Service for Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing service animals, meeting the specific needs of children with disabilities throughout 35 counties of Northeast & Central Ohio. All dogs are trained utilizing our Award-Winning ODRC Accredited Cell Dog Training Program hosted at Grafton Correctional Instituation (GCI) and Mansfield Correctional Institution (MANCI). We are driven by our belief in early intervention and will work with a family as early in a child’s life as there is a need and an interest.

It costs $35,000 to train and place one service dog, and all proceeds from this event will go directly toward this mission.
