“Transplanted Roots” tells the powerful and deeply human story of people forced to leave their homes because of war and conflict. Through personal narratives and moving testimonies, the film explores themes of displacement, identity, resilience, and the search for belonging in a new country. The documentary offers an intimate look at how lives are reshaped by global events and how individuals rebuild their futures while holding on to their cultural roots.
After the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the film’s director, Alla Rosca, participate in a Q&A session, and engage in a thoughtful discussion of the film's themes.
🌍 This event is free and open to the public.
We look forward to seeing you in Baton Rouge for this meaningful and thought-provoking event.
