Welcome to A Nupe Spade Tournament Vol. 1

Come join us for a fun-filled day of spades at the Historic Kappa House. Get ready to show off your skills and compete against other players in this exciting tournament.

Whether you're a seasoned spades pro or just looking to have a good time, this event is perfect for all levels of players. Bring your A-game and get ready to play your best hand!

We will be implementing double elimination for the tournament so that means you have multiple chances to win the overall tournament. Here are the rules for our tournament:

Spades Tournament Rules:

• Rounds will go to 350 during double elimination and 500 during the championship game.
• Back to Back sets or 3 sets happen during the match you lose
• Renege cost you 3 books but does not count as sand bags
• 10 sand bags collected will set you back 100 points
• All teams will start in the Winner's Bracket, once a team loses they will move to the Loser's Bracket.
• If your team loses again the Loser's Bracket then your team is eliminated.
• Loser's Bracket games will determine who will face the Winner's Bracket finalist
• Championship match:
• The undefeated team (Winner's Bracket) vs Loser's Bracket Champion
• if the Loser's bracket champion wins then there is a rematch in order to determine the overall Champion so Loser's bracket champion has to win twice in a row.
