Back for its third year, Wabash Run The River is a chip-timed race that starts in the heart of Wabash County and runs along the Wabash River! From competitive athletes to leisure runners, this event appeals to everyone! Choose run options from a 5K, 10K, or 13.1M half marathon that runs along the scenic WABASH RIVER TRAIL (https://www.wabashrivertrail.org/) located along the Wabash River. EVENT TIMELINE
FRIDAY:
5 PM - 7 PM - Runner check-in & packet pick-up at Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground
5 PM - 8 PM - Wabash First Friday family-friendly street festival
SATURDAY:
6:30 AM - 8 AM - Runner check-in & day of registration at Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground
6:30 AM - 8 AM - Kroft Chiropractic will offer pre-race stretching
8 AM - 12 PM - Block Party - A FREE family-friendly event which will include food trucks, face painting, and more!
8:30 AM - Half marathon start
8:55 AM - MyTeam Triumph start
9 AM - 10k/5k start
11 AM - Awards
12 PM - Course and Block Party closes

***High school and college athletes are ineligible to accept cash rewards in accordance with IHSAA regulations. Should a high school or college athlete place first, second or third, in any of the WRTR races those funds will be donated to a local charity in their honor. It is up to the athlete to comply with all IHSAA regulations and not the responsibility of WRTR or its staff and volunteers to enforce said guidelines.***
