Shelter beneath the canopy where species cling to the sanctuary of trees. Join Lisa Collyer at Piney Lakes to ponder the unique adaptations of local trees to write eco-poetry.
Please note this session is for adults aged 16+

What to bring:
While much of the workshop will be indoors, you’ll also be out and about at Piney Lakes getting inspired.
Please bring - writing materials including notepad and pen, hat, water bottle, weather appropriate clothing, closed in shoes and protective gear as we will be walking around Piney Lakes.

About Lisa Collyer:
Lisa is a poet and educator in Boorloo. She is the author of the poetry collection, How To Order Eggs Sunny Side Up, which was short-listed for The Dorothy Hewett Award in 2022 and is published with Life Before Man Books. She is widely published in Westerly, Rabbit, Cordite, Australian Poetry Anthology, Salt Bush Review, Science Write Now and more. She was a recent inspire writer in residence for The National Trust of W.A. and a feature poet of the Perth Poetry Festival, The Perth Writer’s Festival and The Mandurah Readers’ and Writers’ Festival.
