The gates of Merriwick open once more as Viking Weekend launches the 2026 season of the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire. Queen Elizabeth I calls upon thee to gather for a celebration of history, heritage, and summer revelry.
The village hums with the clash of steel, the beat of war drums, and the tales of ancient lore carried on the wind. Whether you arrive in furs and braids or in the traditional dress of your own heritage, Viking Weekend invites you to be a part of the saga!
Explore a bustling marketplace filled with artisan wares, handcrafted treasures, and Renaissance-inspired goods. Feast on hearty fare, raise a horn of mead, and witness thrilling jousts, bold performances, and the camaraderie of warriors beneath Merriwick’s summer skies.

WMRF welcomes adventurers of all ages - children 5 & under are FREE, with discounts available for Seniors and Military! Onsite tent and RV camping is also available for those who wish to fully immerse themselves in the Faire for the weekend.
