W+ Wednesday Special: SUMMER SOLSTICE

Summer solstice, the longest day of the year, something we should celebrate! That's why we are organising a Wednesday special riding a greater distance than usual.

On Wednesday the 19th of June, we are organising a +/- 70 km ride with a dinner stop half way at Hans & Frietje in Loenen aan de Vecht. Fingers crossed for warm weather as it would be great to go for a 'bib dip' in the Loosdrechtse plassen too!

Some details about our rides:

- Meet at 6:15 PM, roll at 6:30 PM sharp

- Route is +/- 70 km

- Average speed of around 28- 30 km/h (riding speed 30 - 35 km/h)

- Experience in group riding is required (hand signals)

- Women & non-binary only

Please bring:

- Riding with cleats and road pedals is mandatory

- A helmet

- A spare tire, a mini tool, and pump just in case

- Snacks & water bidons

- Well maintained bike *TT handlebars are not allowed

About No Ordinary Women:

We are women lead advanced cycling club. Every Wednesday we host rides from Maats Cycling Culture. We are an advanced group of riders and during these rides all take turns at the front. We love the social and community aspect of riding in a group but also like to do the occasional sprint and rotate single file at a fast speed pushing each other to become stronger riders!

We are an LGBTQ+ and POC-friendly group of riders and welcome anyone who is a woman or non-binary. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination.
