In January 2022, the four musicians from the very north of Sweden travelled to Clouds Hill Studios in Hamburg, Germany, to record their self-titled debut record: Vännäs Kasino. A pure and passionate punk rock record. 16 songs with a total length of less than 30 minutes. “True punk spirit”, as HYMN (SE) stated.
The album was pressed on vinyl in a limited run on 500 hand-numbered copies, with the band spray-painting 100 record sleeves by themselves. Not being available on streaming platforms, “Vännäs Kasino” was only offered at the band’s few live shows and later via their Instagram and Bandcamp account, and finally in selected record stores. A colored repress followed in early 2024.
In November 2024, the quartet finally released its second LP. „15 songs of no nonsense fast rock that feels more defined and focused than our first album.“, describes Dennis Lyxzén the record. „It started as an idea to record a new EP but the writing process was so much fun that it ended up being a full album.“
Other than the debut, this album was recorded in Sweden. “We meet up with Johann Scheerer in Sundsvall in the beautiful Nova Studio for an intense 5 days. The ambition was to create a lean sort of mix tape of our favourite punk and hardcore music but done in our own way. The result speaks for itself and it’s a wonderful tight and fun album.“

“Diese Band hat es verdient vor Leuten zu spielen! Was das Duo alleine aus seinen Instrumenten herausholt ist einfach der Wahnsinn!” (Away From Life). Die Berliner Gitarrenrockband war 2020 auf Europatour mit der RAMONES-Legende Richie Ramone unterwegs als die erste Corona-Welle ausbrach. Das war ein Dämpfer, doch all die überschüssige Energie haben sie in die Aufnahmen ihres Debütalbums Fairytales and Nightmares gegossen. 2021 nahm das Label KROD Records die Band unter Vertrag und veröffentlichte ganze sechs Singles inklusive unterhaltsamen Videos als Vorboten des Albums, das zwölf Songs enthält und zum Mitsingen und Pogen, aber auch zum Nachdenken und Mitfühlen anregt. Nun präsentieren Chaos Commute ihr Werk endlich Live, denn für ihre energetischen Shows sind die Berliner bekannt!
