Vulva Expusse is an exposé of the vulva to show the hidden and often undiscussed, or celebrated anatomy. This body of work’s inception sprung from my journey of feeling disconnected from my vulva after contracting genital herpes. Painting vulvas gave me a voice and a place where I could reconnect to myself and others and explore the many issues faced by vulva and uterus owners.My work is colourful and fun and feels like a celebration, a place to generate conversations and empower others to free themselves of shame and taboos surrounding the vulva and uterus. All vulvas are unique and beautiful and deserve to be celebrated. I invite you to join me in celebrating the beauty and diversity of the vulva at the Vulva Expusse exhibition.
