Vulture Yoga Experience

Join me at Possum-bilities in Fredericksburg to meet Vega an incredible rescue vulture and enjoy a Yoga class focused on the powerful symbolism of vultures in the Powhatan culture of native Virginia tribes. Known as Opatenaiok meaning 'peace eagle' vultures protected the tribes from disease while recycling nutrients back into the environment.

At the event participants will learn about vultures from Vega's rehabilitator enjoy a 1-hour Yoga class and have the opportunity for a meet and greet with Vega as well as photos with her after the Yoga class. Since this event is the day after Halloween interested participants will also be able to enjoy a meet and greet with Big Mama a wonderful tarantula. Of course everyone will be able to enjoy time interacting with a sweet ambassador opossum and have photo opportunities during an opossum meet and greet.

The cost is $20 and class size is limited. Your registration supports the continuous care of Vega as well as the rescue and rehabilitation of vultures and other raptors.
