VU PHL & Cradles to Crayons
About this Event
Cradles to Crayons connects you to new and gently used donations—beautiful and loved outfits and essentials from the community—that you and VU will quality check, sort, package, and prepare to go to kids in our communities through our incredible network of Service Partners.
What we will be doing:
In partnership with Cradles to Crayons, up to 25 VU volunteers will sort, organize, and curate orders for specific children in the Giving Factory. Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in.
Notes ahead of the event!
VU will add you to the Cradles to Crayons event system. Once added, you'll automatically receive a waiver via the email you provided during registration. Please be sure to sign the waiver prior to your shift.

Parking & Transportation
- Parking: There is a dedicated parking lot - we highly suggest carpooling!
- Nearby bus routes: We recommend using the trip planner to make it easier to find frequent options
- Regional Rail: Queen Lane Station, Allegheny, Wayne Junction

Info: After we roll up our sleeves and make a difference, the fun doesn't stop there! We'll head to a nearby bar or restaurant to unwind, share stories, and build new friendships. It's the perfect way to celebrate our collective efforts and connect with fellow volunteers.
