VRÏA Mwldan Production / Cynhyrchiad y Mwldan
Enillwyr Albwm Gorau Gwobrau Gwerin Cymru ddwywaith (albwm debut Tŷ Ein Tadau (2019) ac islais a genir 2022), VRï yw Jordan Price Williams (sielo, llais), Aneirin Jones (feiolin, llais) a Patrick Rimes (feiola, feiolin, llais).
Wedi’u hysbrydoli gan stori anhygoel cyfnod pan gafodd cerddoriaeth a dawns draddodiadol Cymru eu darostwng gan gapeli’r Methodistiaid, ac, yn gynharach, ei hiaith gan y Ddeddf Uno, mae VRï yn taflu goleuni newydd ar draddodiad gwerin bywiog sy’n harneisio egni amrwd y ffidil gyda cheinder y feiolin, a phrydferthwch cerddoriaeth siambr gyda llawenydd a phleserau sesiwn mewn tafarn, gyda harmonïau lleisiol pwerus yn sail i’r cyfan.

Two-time winners of Best Album at the Welsh Folk Award (debut album Tŷ Ein Tadau (2019) and 2022's islais a genir), VRï are Jordan Price Williams (cello, voice), Aneirin Jones (violin, voice) and Patrick Rimes (viola, violin, voice).
Inspired by the incredible story of a time when Wales’ traditional music and dance was suppressed by Methodist chapels, and, earlier, its language by the Act of Union, VRï shed new light on a vibrant folk tradition that harnesses the raw energy of the fiddle with the finesse of the violin, and the beauty of chamber music with the joy and hedonism of a pub session, all underpinned with powerful vocal harmonies.
