About this Event
You are cordially invited to the wedding of the National Aquarium and Baltimore. Join us for Voyages: Chapter 8 and explore Aquarium exhibits through an immersive dining experience inspired by sustainable food from the mind of local food personality and creator Tim "Chyno" Chin (also known as @boywiththebluebeard and @thebaltimorefoodie).
Inspired by months of research at the Aquarium and insights from Ben Halpern, a scientific leadership member of the Blue Food Assessment, Chyno created “A Celebration of Baltimore, Water, and the Meals That Connect Us All.” This immersive dining experience encourages guests to rethink their relationship with food. It promises to serve up a menu you won’t soon forget, featuring local culinary superstars Chef Amanda Mack, Chef Cia Carter, Chef Samara Greene-Scott and Chef Kiara Young. After exploring the exhibits, close out the night with your fellow voyagers at a wedding dance party performed by USVNI and the Bloom Orchestra with special guest vocalist Black Assets.
This is where art and science meet. This is a one-of-a-kind celebration of all things Baltimore and the connection we share with the natural world. This is the Aquarium like you’ve never experienced it before. This is Voyages. Are you ready to embark on a journey into the deep?
Important Details
- Guests will enter through the Aquarium’s Pier 4 building. Please bring a photo ID; guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend the event.
- Heavy wedding hors d'oeuvres and a welcome drink are included with your ticket. Beverages and additional snacks will be available for purchase and are not included in the ticket price.
- Australia: Wild Extremes in Pier 3 and the Dolphin Discovery amphitheater in Pier 4 will be closed during the event; however, the Dolphin Discovery underwater viewing area will be open.
- The Aquarium is committed to welcoming all guests to experience the wonders of the world’s aquatic treasures. A variety of services are available for guests with disabilities. Contact [email protected] to request disability accommodations for the Voyages experience; advance notice is required to arrange some accessibility needs.

Dress Prompt
Chyno invites you to dust off your wedding attire and swim in a sea of brides, grooms and friends beyond the binary. But don't forget that you'll be walking around the Aquarium, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.

The Voyages event series is building a community of hopeful conservationists that is inclusive of a spectrum of identity and creative curiosity. We believe accessible admission, regardless of economic circumstances, is critical for this aim. If you are experiencing economic adversity that prevents you from paying the full ticket price, please fill out the Voyages Access Ticket application to be entered into a drawing for tickets.
