Join us for an evening of chamber music in the beautiful First Lutheran Houston! This church built in the Italian Romanesque style is a registered Texas Historic Landmark, and is home to many fabulous classical music concerts throughout the year.
This is our first of two stops in Houston along our Texas tour, and we look forward to performing an array of works from our repertoire, including several from our forthcoming debut album!
This concert is open to the public, with a suggested donation of $20, a portion of which will be given to the church for the gracious use of their space.
Parking is available in one of the church lots, one is at the corner of Holman and Austin, and the other is at the corner of Caroline and Francis. If those are full, street parking is free after 6pm.
The Program will include:
Leonard Bernstein: Prelude, Fugue, and Riffs arr./John Romano
Dieterich Buxtehude: Passacaglia in D minor arr./Megan Wojtyla
Philip Glass: Etude #3, arr./Nikhil Bartolomeo
Andrew List: Harlequin’s Escapades
Marc Mellits: Splinter
Florence Price: Sonata in E minor, II. Andante arr./Jelte Althuis
Jean-Philippe Rameau: Les Cyclops arr./Nikhil Bartolomeo
