Fresh off international touring and the release of their latest album Art Oracles, the band brings a new live show to Vancouver—bigger, bolder, and built for the dancefloor.

Vox Rea bring their immersive, cinematic indie-pop sound to The Fox for a night rooted in atmosphere, emotion, and connection. Fronted by sisters Kate and Lauren Kurdyak, the Canadian collective is known for crafting music that blurs the line between poetry and philosophy — intimate one moment, expansive the next.

Blending Laurel Canyon–style harmonies with modern, synth-laced textures, Vox Rea create songs that explore fate, freedom, and the art of letting go. Since the release of their debut single Dose Me Up in 2020, the band has amassed over 5 million Spotify streams, earned placements on New Music Friday Canada, and received airplay across CBC, BBC Radio 6, and stations around the world. Their cinematic sound has also appeared in hit series including Sweet Magnolias and Orphan Black.

Over the past year, Vox Rea have been touring across the UK and Europe, refining a sound that blends emotional songwriting with sleek electronic production. The new era, shaped around Art Oracles, leans fully into that evolution: immersive, cinematic, and unapologetically electronic.

This hometown set will be an electronic fusion spectacle—live vocals and synths woven into a seamless performance, paired with immersive visuals and a club-forward energy. Expect moments of intimacy alongside high-impact drops, all delivered with the intensity the duo is known for.
