Voting Access for All Community Art Installation

Drop by for this collaborative, inclusive, and empowering workshop designed to bring art and civils together. Words will be paired with visual elements to reflect each person’s unique voice, creative expression, and personal narrative.

The individual pieces will then be collected and displayed, creating a powerful, wholly collective statement in support of voting rights for all. The installation will be created by residents across the region at pop-up making stations.

This workshop is hosted by members of IMD (Indivisible Metro Detroit) and VAAC (Voting Access for All Coalition).

Materials for making the individual pieces will include found materials and a variety of writing and art tools. No need to bring your own supplies.
