Voter Education: A Community Conversation

Voting is more than what happens on Election Day. Understanding what’s on the ballot, how policies affect our community, and knowing your rights are all important.

During this moderated community conversation, we’ll explore:

· What’s on the Ballot — Issues voters should understand.

· Policies & Issues — Legislation and policy decisions impacting Black communities.

· Know Your Rights — Voter rights, protections, and what you should know before casting your vote.

· Beyond Election Day — How we can remain informed, engaged, and involved in our communities year-round.

The conversation will be moderated by Alana Mathews, Founder of Community Justice Collaborative, and will feature community leaders with experience in public policy, civic engagement, advocacy, and community leadership.

There will also be an opportunity for audience Q&A.
