The exsisting zip wire in Stannington Park is rotten and needs to be replaced! The park is owned by Sheffield City Council who are underfunded.
Together we can secure £10,000 towards a NEW zip wire!
The new zip wire will be metal and will have a life expectancy of up to 20 YEARS!
It will cost £12,500 inc VAT to purchase and install including VAT so securing this funding grant would get us so close to having a new zip wire this spring!!
We know we are asking a lot for you to come in person, it’s not necessarily convenient… we are sure you have better things to be doing! … However this is an amazing opportunity for us to improve the park we all love ❤️
As a voluntary committee of parents and carers we have found the time to obtain quotes , liaise with the council and submit an application… we just need you to come along and VOTE! 🙏🏼
11 groups have submitted applications and 4 will win!
We need you to come along at 6:00pm, listen to the presentations (3mins each) and then VOTE at 8:00pm
We know it’s a lot to ask .. but we really want to get a new zip wire for all the children to enjoy 🌟🌟
