🌀💗 🌀 Hey dancing friends, we are on the roll and we keep dancing twice a month this season. Join us exploring the theme of CURIOSITY. Alan Watts famously said, "By replacing fear of the unknown with curiosity, we open ourselves to an infinite stream of possibility."
We want to notice our edges while dancing and stay there with a curious attitude. Can we discover new ways of being and moving? This one is at the First Church in Cambridge.
After Cacao Ritual with Sandra Rose we will start with a contact-Improv inspired warm up led by Katerina Tzou.
Followed by a curious heap of ecstatic beats with DJ Luminus 🎧.
And special musical guest Shooka Afshar will complete our evening with her beautiful piano accompaniment. Let's sharpen our curiosity together!
Please note that Vortex Dance will happen twice in May:

Fri May 23 - Somerville Armory with DJ OMAR

🌿 Our Covid & health policy: if you have any flu like symptoms or test positive for Covid please stay home. Testing for Covid before the event is encouraged, but not required. Anyone is welcome to wear a mask during the dance or use our "dance alone" wristband available at the front desk. Thank you for your cooperation .
