A tradition for more than four decades, our annual Von Franken Family Food Run is back for 2025! ?Everyone is invited to the 9 a.m. start Thanksgiving Day for the untimed 3-ish mile run/walk (or choose your own distance!) around Zink Lake that begins and ends at River West Festival Park, 2100 S. Jackson Ave.
The event supports the Salvation Army by collecting donations of nonperishable food items and/or toys for the Angel Tree.
Oklahoma Alliance for Animals also will be there to collect supplies for our furry family members.
We will serve DoubleShot coffee, cocoa, and Bobby Bomer's famous blueberry pancakes.
We will hand out free raffle tickets to participants who finish the run/walk. Raffle will begin about 10 a.m.
There's no sign up; just show up, donate, and have fun!
It's a great way to start the holiday and give to people who are less fortunate. #FillTheTruck
