Volunteering Event

Leeds Eastgate Jobcentre is proud to be a Health Model Office.

Working to provide inclusive support for a diverse customer base living across the North and South Leeds areas. We have also attained an Autism Accreditation award from the National Autistic Society.

As part of our programme of support, we are seeking to build effective relationships with local and national employers. In this way we work to raise awareness of the Disability Confident scheme and Access to Work. Also to maximise our customers positive experiences of employment, training and voluntary work opportunities, work experience, Way 2 Work and other work-focused activities.

Our desire is to support customers wanting to undertake volunteering opportunities to:

• Gain confidence

• Make a difference

• Meet people

• Be part of a community

• Learn new skills

• Take on a challenge
