Woody Invasive Management Bayless Dune is known for its rugged, scenic beauty and variety of native plants, including the captivating eastern prickly pear. Unfortunately, round leaf bittersweet and other invasive species have taken hold in some areas. Help us beat them back!• Trail Description: 0.26 miles, sandy, with occasional strenuous climbing
• Weather Policy: Rain or shine. We hold our volunteer workdays in all types of weather, although if conditions become dangerous or prohibitive, we may be forced to cancel abruptly. Your safety is our first concern!
• Amenities: No restrooms, will have water, snacks, PPE, parking will be at the vacant Nobel Elem. School lot across from St. Barnabas Church (601 Pottawatomi Trail, Gary)
