Want to make a difference for your neighbors? Come meet United Way of Charlotte County’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) team and explore how you can help local residents access free tax preparation.
Whether you have volunteered with us before, recently expressed interest, or are simply curious, you are welcome. Connect with returning and new volunteers, learn about opportunities, and ask questions in a welcoming setting.
Training is provided for volunteers who choose to join the tax preparation team, including preparation for IRS Advanced certification. Bilingual volunteers are especially welcome.
You do not need to decide on a role before attending. Come learn more and see what interests you.
