Volunteer with Us – Kayak Clean-Up at Oleta River State Park

The address to Oleta State Park is 3400 NE 163rd St, North Miami Beach, FL 33160. Once you enter the park, keep following the road and you will see the Outdoor center to your left.

Please mention that you are here for the cleanup, and the park staff will give you directions at the gate. We will meet close to the kayak rental. -Look for our turtle flag.

In case of thunder, lightning and rain the cleanup will be cancelled. Stay up to date with our IG stories for more info. @cleanmiamibeach

Minors under the age of 18 coming without a parent/guardian, MUST have a parent sign the waiver in advance, otherwise, they will not be permitted to participate.

Parking:

There is plenty of parking right next to the outdoor center in the parking lot. Please do not park on the grass. Parking in the park is free.

THINGS TO KNOW (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

• Limited Kayaks available. First come, first serve. If you plan to go out on the water, please be there at 3:30 for a short safety briefing.
• 4:00 pm is the start of the cleanup. Please be on time, we will finish at 6:00pm.
• Bring your reusable water bottle (no single-use plastic please), we will have a refill station
• We will provide sanitized garden gloves, buckets and picker
• Closed-toed shoes are recommended along the rocks
• Wear reef-safe sun protection incl. hat
• If you need community service hours, you must be on time
