Volunteer with us! Santa Visits Victoria Drive 2024

Join us as an event volunteer for a jolly event on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM! We are thrilled to announce that Santa Claus will be making a special appearance on Victoria Drive. This is your chance to spread holiday cheer and make a difference in our community as an event volunteer. This annual community event features: music, X'mas tree, cotton candy, coffee and raffle draw!

**Volunteer** with us and be part of this festive celebration. Help us create magical moments for children and families as they meet Santa and receive small gifts. Whether you're an elf, photographer, or simply want to lend a helping hand, your contribution will make this event unforgettable.

This **in-person** event promises a heartwarming experience filled with laughter, joy, and holiday spirit. Dress up in your favorite holiday attire and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime.

When: December 14, 2024 (Saturday)

Time to volunteer: 4 hours shift of your choice:

Early shift: 11 am to 3 pm; or

Afternoon shift: 1 to 5 pm

Note: event time for the public to participate is noon to 4 pm.

Who: please look for Eric Lau from South Vancouver Neighbourhood House. I will help you to sign up and assign you job duties and under to a team leader.

What to bring / wear: dress for the festival and weather! We might have rain/snow in the forecast. We will have two big tents and heater to keep us dry and warm.

What you will do: Event setup and takedown. During event: give out cotton candies, handout raffle tickets, crowd control, waste control and other duties as assigned by your leader.

Note: this annual community event is organized by the Victoria Drive Business Improvement Association and the volunteer recruitment is lead by the settlement services staff at South Vancouver Neighbourhood House.
