Learn about the adopt-a-trail program, help pull the invasive plant species Caesar's W**d, and make your own plant ID cards.
About this Event

Join us at the screen room pavilion at Deep Creek Preserve to learn about the adopt-a-trail program and the invasive plant species Caesar's W**d. We will pull the W**d from a small portion of the trail and then enjoy lemonade under the Longleaf Pines and make ID cards for common invasive and native plant species. Supplies will be provided. Bring your own plant photos to make extra cards.

Bring garden gloves. All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required.

Green Volusia Volunteers sponsor this event through Volusia County Environmental Management.

WHAT TO BRING: garden gloves. Water, hat, sunscreen.
