Volunteer: Transgender March

This month is Transgender Awareness Month and your help would mean the world to us as we support our local transgender organization Transinclusive Group with their Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) March from Justin Flippen Park to the Pride Center.

We're looking for crowd control volunteers to help pass out posters to the crowd as well as walk alongside the walking group with rolling coolers making sure walkers stay on the sidewalk, obey traffic lights, and handout cold water to any walker that ask for any or or that you notice might need some water.

The walk will take anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes. And staging at the Justin Flippen Park passing out posters to anyone who would like to have one for the walk while presenters speak to the crowd will take anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes.

*Attire: Volunteers will be required to wear a safety vest (PPE) and possibly a whistle.

*Parking: Volunteers can park at our HOTspots Happening Out office building in the front parking lot or side gravel parking area, 2435 N. Dixie Hwy. Wilton Manors, FL 33305. Or volunteers can park at meter parking throughout Wilton Manors.
