Become the ally our students need.Join us for a three-hour deep dive into the AcademySTAY mission. This essential training connects you with our vision to empower transitional-aged youth through housing, education, and belonging.
You will go beyond the basics of volunteering. We will explore the lived experiences of former foster youth to build your understanding of the challenges they have overcome. You will gain trauma-informed tools to lead with sensitivity, patience, and strength. This knowledge is key to building the safe, trusting relationships that drive real growth.
Completion of this session opens the door to our most impactful roles. It certifies you to work independently with students on and off campus as a mentor or life skills trainer.
