Do to the rain we had last Friday we had to cancel the planting g of the fruit trees and vines. We are schduling again f oi r December 2. We are in need of a few warm bodies to help Tuesday 10-1:00 to help expand the gardens with fruit trees and bush fruit. It is planting day at the farm. Can you come out and help with the next step leading to a 1/2 acre small fruit garden and a 2 acre orchard. There will be 4 in 1 community engagement with the orchard, 1 tree for those that work the programs or volunteer, 1 tree for community to pick from, 1 tree for donations to a nonprofit such as Family Transformation Housing, Transformation Visitation Home or CSL of EJC. The 4th tree for us to harvest from. The small fruit garden will be set up similarly for sharing. All will be at a low cost or free depending on the group you fall under. So put on your Jean's and boots and come out a dig a few holes for us or fill a hole with some compost. Tuesday December 2 from 10-1:00.
