This is a BIG project, and we're excited to invite you to come help! We will be planting a pollinator hedgerow and raingarden that will support our pollinators and infiltrate water for years to come. ?https://dailyacts.org/events-cal/planting-day-at-miwok-park/
In November, ReLeaf Petaluma planted 77 native trees at Miwok Park & School, and now's our chance to add even more biodiversity to this landscape. Our partner, Conservation Corps North Bay, will have already prepared the grounds by sheet mulching to compost the lawn in place and retrofit the irrigation to make sure the new plants flourish.
Let's work together to beautify this community space. ?
In partnership with Rebuilding Petaluma, we'll also be giving away t-shirts to all volunteers who attend! ?
