Please join us for our new volunteer orientation. You will be meeting with Francine and Dana to learn all about the rescue and what our volunteers do. This includes playing/walking the dogs, transporting dogs to events/appointments, attending fundraisers, volunteering at our thrift store and much more. A minimum requirement of 2 activities per month is needed.Volunteers must be 18 or older to volunteer with the dogs (15 years of age to volunteer at the thrift store). All Volunteers must wear an EADR t-shirt when attending any EADR function, so we do require $15 donation and we will give you a shirt. We have a wide variety of styles and sizes available from T-shirts to tank tops.
All attendants are subject to a background check. Volunteering with the dogs requires you to be able to walk a mile, handle strong dogs on a leash and lift 30lbs. Volunteers for the thrift store only, require a 4 hour, set day each week.
