Volunteer Opportunity in Tampa - Free T-Shirt, Lunch and Parking

On Saturday, July 22, the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity is opening its member-only outdoor Family Outing event to the public, hosted by nationally syndicated comedian/actor Nephew Tommy, and Tampa Anchor/Reporter for NewsChannel 8, WFLA, Deanne King.

Today, we are asking the community to join us by volunteering to serve the city of Tampa and its residents at this exciting event!

Volunteering includes:

Assisting with event day setup, parking lot assistance, greeting attendees, crowd flow management, ticket scanning, restroom monitoring, ad-hoc tasks and tearing down tables and tents.

All volunteers will receive a complimentary Volunteer T-shirt, Lunch and Parking on event day

About the Event

• The event takes place on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 12 pm-5 pm ET at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park in Tampa.
• The Kappa Konclave Family Outing on the Riverwalk showcases Tampa's vibrant tourism scene and promotes local businesses.
• The event features "The StompDown" Kappa Edition step and stroll showcase with teams from USF, UCF, FAMU, and more.
• The event is sponsored by Hillsborough County, the City of Tampa, Moffitt Cancer Center, Genentech, and Aetna
• Event goers can enjoy the sunny Riverwalk, indulge in delicious meals from local food truck vendors, and be entertained by musical guests.
