Calling volunteers to join us in honoring our fallen heroes at the Memorial Day Flag Planting event, as we come together with a spirit of giving back to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

Let us gather at the Houston National Cemetery on Sunday, May 28, 2023, for a meaningful day of planting flags in Section M1, symbolizing our deep appreciation for these courageous individuals.

• ? We kindly request that you say the veteran's name as you place each flag and express your gratitude.
  
• ? Fragile flags will be used, so please bring a 12-inch screwdriver and ruler if possible.
  
• ? WARNING: Flags can break, which is why we ask for the above tools.
  
• ? Please wear walking mud shoes and bring plenty of water.
  
• ? Arriving earlier will allow you to post more flags on each stone.
