Volunteer Garden Party
About this Event
join us at the fuchsia freedom community garden in the heart of jackson ward for an evening of volunteering, connection, music, and wood-fired pizza.
together we'll help care for one of richmond's most beautiful community spaces through a variety of small but meaningful projects. think weeding, painting rocks, adding privacy to the fence, and other garden beautification projects that help this special place continue to thrive.
our friend Bee, founder and head gardener of fuchsia freedom community garden, will guide us throughout the evening and share about this incredible neighborhood space.
we'll also have:
🍕 wood-fired pizza from Chris and his mobile pizza oven
🎶 music and good vibes
🥤 drinks
🌿 meaningful volunteer projects
💬 plenty of opportunities to meet new people
at pair club, we believe some of the best connections happen when people share experiences and work toward something together.
there's no better way to celebrate summer and 250 years than by giving back, getting your hands dirty, and bringing more nature, creativity, and community into our city.
this event is donation-based, and proceeds will go directly toward supporting the garden.
come make new friends and leave the garden a little more beautiful than you found it. 💛
