For one morning, we’re bringing together Banana Ball players, families, friends, and volunteers from across DFW to serve our community—one meal at a time.
Feed The City is Tango Charities’ hands-on volunteer program where people of all ages come together to make meals for neighbors experiencing food insecurity. You’ll work alongside other volunteers—and some special Banana Ball guests—to make sandwiches, pack lunches, and help get meals into the hands of people who need them.

All ages are welcome, and you do NOT need to bring supplies.
Unlike our traditional Feed The City events, everything needed to make the meals will be provided for you. Just register, show up, and be ready to serve!
Come with your family. Bring your friends. Bring the kids. Whether this is your first Feed The City or you’ve volunteered with us before, we’d love to have you join us.
What to Expect
We’ll have a fun, high-energy morning of service featuring players from the Savannah Bananas and Texas Tailgaters, along with music and plenty of Banana Ball energy.
Volunteers will work together to prepare meals that will be distributed locally to help people experiencing food insecurity.
No experience is needed. No supplies are needed. All ages are welcome.
Important Registration Information
LIMITED SPACE IS AVAILABLE. YOU MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND.
Because this is a special event with limited capacity, every adult age 18+ attending must register individually. Youth under 18 must attend with an adult, and our standard 5:1 youth-to-adult ratio applies.
Registration is required so we can appropriately plan for volunteers, supplies, and meals. Please do not arrive without registering.

8:30–9:00 AM — Volunteer Arrival & Check-In
9:00 AM — Welcome & Event Begins
9:00–10:15 AM — Meal Packing
10:15–10:30 AM — Wrap-Up
Volunteer service hours can be verified for students who need them.
