Volunteer Event: HCAT & Serve the City-Peninsula

We need 10 volunteers to join us as we support Serve the City and the10th annual Big Volunteer Week in Newport News!
About this Event

Registration/check-in begins at 8:30am and projects are assigned at check-in. We will meet at the sign-in location (please sign in with Kim- look for the ACHE clipboard!). Usual projects include minor home repair, yard work, and daily family friendly projects. There are also behind-the-scene jobs that may need help. Specific project is unknown until the morning we arrive-- recommend any children that attend be old enough to participate and must always be with an adult.

Recommend comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes.

Networking opportunity-- lunch will be provided at the Downing-Gross Cultural Art Center from 12:15pm-1pm. We would love for everyone to join us!

ACHE members- this can count as a volunteer experience for your Fellow application/re-certification.
