Park staff & volunteers will be taking on projects across the park on Monday, January 19th! Select which volunteer opportunity below.About this Event
Volunteers will be asked to meet at the park's Nature Center and choose one of the following volunteer projects on the morning of Monday, January 19th:
- Litter Removal - Volunteers will be provided trash bags, litter pickers, and gloves and remove trash from key points in the park.
- Trail Stewardship - Volunteers ages 16 and over will assist in a trail steward project.
- Conservation Management Project - Volunteers will assist in the removal of invasive species from the park's reforestation project.
- Bluebird Box Management - Volunteers will assist our park naturalist in the maintainance and management of the bird boxes across the park.
Prior to the start of the morning's projects, park staff and Conservation Crew members will be setting up a winter sowing demostration by the Nature Center. Volunteers from all projects will be able to help. This demonstration should last about 20 minutes.
