Join us at Omaha's oldest cemetery and help us maintain this historic memorial garden. We would truly appreciate it if you could come out and assist. Don't forget to bring your favorite pair of work gloves, overalls, sunbonnet, bandana, sunscreen, kneepads and tools of the trade – W**d whackers, loppers, clippers, tarps, rakes or other implements of assistance. All volunteers are welcome, with or without equipment! Each summer the Prospect Hill Historic Cemetery and Arboretum reaches out to the community asking for assistance with the maintenance of the grounds. W**d-eating, debris and trash collection, and - for some of our more experienced volunteers, with cemetery personnel oversight - removing volunteer trees and larger debris requiring a chainsaw, are on the agenda. We have affectionately named these extraordinary helpers "WeedWorkers".
