Volunteer at Second Harvest Heartland

Join the Entrepreneurs' Organization of Minnesota and their families for a rewarding evening of service with Second Harvest Heartland! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a direct impact by helping to sort and pack food for our community. Bring your family, friends, or a group—volunteers ages 8 and up are welcome!

Event Details:

Activities: Sorting, labeling, weighing, and packing food items like fresh produce, dry goods, and bread.

Capacity: 15 volunteers

Shift Requirements: Ability to twist, bend, stand for the duration, and lift 5 pounds (or 40 pounds for some tasks). Limited seated positions available - let us know if you need accommodations.

Volunteers should arrive 10-15 minutes before the shift for check-in.

Dress Code:

Clothing: Comfortable, layered clothes (no tank tops or crop tops).

Shoes: Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.

Jewelry: No jewelry allowed in the food prep area—lockers and jewelry bags are available on-site.
