Dallas CERT Volunteer Victims

Volunteer Victim for CERT Disaster Preparedness Exercise.

We need individuals who are willing to volunteer as "victims" in a realistic disaster scenario that is the final exercise for the participating responders. Volunteers should prepare to be made-up with casualty simulation wounds/makeup. The volunteers should wear clothing that may be sacrificed to stage (simulated) blood and make-up - in other words the clothing should be considered "disposable" if it gets soiled. Wearing shorts is strongly encouraged to allow for simulated leg injuries.

If you would like to bring a minor:

Here are the guidelines:

For mature minors ages 16-17 we need a signed waiver from a parent or guardian.

For mature minors ages 12-15 we need a signed waiver from a parent or legal guardian. However the parent or legal guardian must remain with the child during the Exercise.

This means the parent or legal guardian needs to volunteer to be a victim.

*Community Service Forms are available to those who participate.

Exercise victims should plan to arrive at 7:00 am at Dallas Fire-Rescue Training Center 5000 Dolphin Rd. Dallas TX 75223 and follow the signs to check in.

These Exercises are scheduled to end NLT 11:30 am.
