Dear FFF Volunteers,As the Spring season draws to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible impact you’ve had from March 3rd through May 25th. Whether you’ve been trekking the trails with our pups, lending a hand with kennel upkeep, engaging the community, or helping behind the scenes with data and organization—you’ve played a vital role in every part of our mission. From first greetings to foster homes, and joyful field trips to those unforgettable Freedom Rides, your dedication powers everything we do.
To celebrate your hard work, we’re thrilled to invite you—and a guest—to our Spring Volunteer Appreciation Lunch on Saturday, May 24th, held at the FFF campus. The day will kick off with a tour of the facility, followed by fun team-building games, heartfelt recognitions, and a tasty plant-based lunch from Nutmeg! The menu includes: Penne pasta with marinara, vegan meatballs & vegan cheese, fresh baguette grilled with roasted garlic & fresh herbs, vegan peanut butter cookies. Dana Duplin is volunteering his time and talent to play music for us!
