University of Redlands and Los Angeles based dance theatre company Volta presents the world premiere of “BITE II”
About this Event

BITE II is an exploration of the Pr*son of femininity, the beauty industrial complex, and rebellion. Drawing from classical mythologies, pop culture, and the performers’ own experiences, BITE II imagines a world where women are driven to madness, lose control, and set themselves free. What does it mean to be free in a world where we are our own surveillance? “BITE II” invites audiences to live out fantasies of liberation.

“Volta is passionate about creating visceral emotionally charged work that combines extreme physicality and story-telling,” state Megan Paradowski and Mamie Green, founders and directors of Volta. “We are excited to team up with Redlands University to transport audiences into Volta’s universe of feminine imagination and resilience.”

Free to University of Redlands Faculty, Staff and Students. Please show ID at door evening of performance.
